Ghanaian Afro Highlife singer Kweysi Swat has released a new banger titled “Had I Known and is set to release the official video on Monday, August 31st, 2020 after exiting Guru’s NKZ Music Group.
Kweysi Swat was signed unto Guru’s NKZ Music Label for five years but the marriage ended upbrutly.
While on the NKZ Music Label he collaborated with Guru on ‘Bad Energy’ which earned 2020 VGMA Highlife song of the year and 2020 Ghana Music Awards USA, Highlife song of the year nominations.

The reason for Kweysi Swat leaving Guru’s NKZ Music Label was unknown until today when Guru the boss of the NKZ Music Group in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Morning show said he is very unhappy about how Kweysi Swat left his camp.
According to him, Kweysi Swat terminated his contract with the NKZ Music Label and left the apartment he gave him while he was in the USA. This he thinks makes Kweysi Swat an ingrate for not appreciating all he did for him while on his label.
In response to these allegations Guru, Kweysi Swat tweeted @andydosty stating that he had never wanted to talk about his exit from the NKZ Music Label because there wasn’t any buzz when he was being signed unto the label but would want to clear the air since his former boss Guru has decided to play the victim spreading falsehood.

He noted that while Guru was out of the country he instructed a close friend of his to throw him out of the apartment he gave him and terminate his contract with the NKZ Music Label but the said guy refused because he realized he didn’t deserve such inhumane treatment and allowed him to leave at his own convenience after getting a place of his own.
He added that even before asking his friend to drive him out of the apartment he had then asked his Business Manager to terminate his contract.

‘If I left the camp of Guru and his NKZ Music Label on that bad note why is his team promoting my current song #Had I known on their statuses?’, he quizzed.
‘I am matured enough to understand not all beautiful relationships promise a beautiful marriage so I embraced reality and left through the front door,’ he added.
Kweysi Swat is currently under the management of Music Oonnect and hoping to get a record deal soon.
