Get Rid of Penis Odour

Bad penis odours are a problem faced by many men and this is especially true if they are uncircumcised. There are plenty of reasons as to why this problem arises and one of the major reasons is maintenance of bad personal hygiene. So, is there a way to combat bad penis odour? Well, like they say – prevention is better than cure; so, let’s take a look at some of the causes of this problem:

Bad Bacteria

There are plenty of bacteria that live on our body and we need most of them; however, there are quite a few cases of bad bacteria that cause problems. Some of these bad bacteria prefer to live in warm and damp areas such as the armpits and also under the foreskin. The smell usually begins a few hours after you shower – that’s because the bacteria are permanently living there.

Urination

Urine contains a lot of different kinds of bacteria as well. Some of these contribute to bad penis odours if not washed properly.

Pubic Hair

This is just another reason that could lead to bad odours. The main reason as to why the hair is a cause is the fact that it traps heat and sweat which gives the bacteria a chance to prosper and grow.
