In this, our third episode of the Madness Chronicles, let’s remember madness is a state of being mentally ill, especially severely, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at our world this week.
According to our illustrious Department of Homeland Insecurity, the most significant threats we face are homegrown terrorists and climate change. Nonetheless, a Saudi Air Force Officer training at our Naval Base in Pensacola went on a shooting spree. US Defense Secretary Mark Esper said, “I can’t say it’s terrorism at this time.” He noted we will have to let the investigation play out. Promptly following the attack that killed three, the Saudi Government issued a statement indicating that Iran is behind many terrorist attacks. Our denial is exceptionally foolish behavior. Yet, we keep it up.
The Saudi’s involved, ten have been arrested, had a party the night before the shooting. They watched movies of Jihad attacks. Three others filmed the shootings while they were happening. But the head of our country’s defense isn’t ready to call it terrorism just yet. My how we’ve learned nothing from 9-11. They say insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Insanity is a mental illness that is madness.
In ‘watch out for the First Amendment’ news, following the murders by the Saudi’s in Pensacola, Fox Newsman Pete Hegseth was banned from Twitter for Tweeting that ‘Islamic terror’ regarding the attacks. What is happening in America is madness. Our rights are being violated, and the majority of people are more worried about the fake ‘climate crisis’ than the fact that a coup is taking place before our eyes.
Speaking of ‘faux American’ s,’ Los Angeles is spending $1 billion a year on the homeless, and they are still packing the streets of the city. Los Angeles is a sanctuary city inviting any and all to come on down. The acting Deputy Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security recently said,” We have a problem with sanctuary cities who are harboring so many of these violent, vicious criminals – literally sheltering from ICE and the opportunity to deport them and get them out of these communities and our country.” He explained he is referring to MS-13 gang members from Mexico.
On the other coast, under the maddening leadership of Governor Cuomo, New York state is set to become the 13th state in the union to allow illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses. Even though officials in counties throughout the Empire State warn, they are not equipped to handle the predicted onslaught. They will be offering free care for the children of illegal aliens who attend a workshop to help them navigate the process of obtaining a license. More than half a million undocumented immigrants are expected to qualify, and all they need is an expired passport, consulate identification or license from their country of citizenship. What a country! What foolishness.
In other madness, the Washington Post reports that the city of Evanston, Illinois, recently voted to place a 3% tax on all marijuana sold in the city. The money generated will be used to establish a ‘reparations fund’ for all black residents. No discrimination there but lots of madness.
