Relieve Stress and Anxiety with This Energy Grounding Guided Meditation / Mindful Movement | Video

Start your day in a calm state. Take a break from a difficult situation. Or take time for yourself to settle from your day before you go to sleep. You can use this 25-minute grounding guided meditation any time you need to relieve stress and anxiety.

In challenging or stressful times, it is important to connect with your physical sensations, to ground your energy, to recognize your emotions as they are and to remember that you are not your thoughts. You are not your feelings or your emotions. At times, you may feel controlled by your thoughts and your emotions as if they become you. Just as when you walk out in the rain you are not the rain, when you experience anxiety you are not the anxiety. Anxiety is only an experience that you are having.

There is a big difference in saying to yourself, “I have anxiety, or I am anxious,” versus saying “I am experiencing anxiety at this moment.” The first statement is claiming that sensation as yours which your mind recognizes as something it wants to hold on to because you are the owner of it.

Today is time to release stress and anxiety. Take comfort in the fact that, like all moments, this moment too shall pass. The more you can tenderly offer yourself love and kindness for your experience, the less suffering you will experience.

    I lost two brothers within two weeks, also I realised I my husband and children have gone past me and I dont play a role in their lives anymore and I realised that he is not my best friend anymore. With this realisation it was easy to understand certain things that I couldn't understand before . But now I am facing the future calmly and knowing that there will be life that will bring joy and happiness to me without depending on anyone.
    And my diabetic sugar levels came down from 303 to 230 inpite of such difficult times .
    I am following yoga exercises for diabetes as well.
    I thank the lord for the service you are providing and may you both be blessed in all that you do.
